On June 6, 2025, at The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Charleston, SC, Lee Bultman was ordained a Catholic Priest and became Father Lee Bultman. That information is pertinent to this website because the Bultman family has a history of association with The Basilica of St. Peter, formerly St. Peters Catholic Church.
Father Lee’s Great Grandparents, Lucius L. Bultman and Mary Comerford are buried in the Basilica Graveyard.

And Father Lee’s grandfather, Charles Bultman Sr., is remembered with an inscription on the tabernacle in the chapel at the Basilica rectory.

The diagram below shows pertinent ancestry of Father Lee and includes the Bultman grave markers and the engraving on the tabernacle that bears the name, Charles Bultman, Sr.

There is a Catherine Comerford buried in the Basilica Graveyard. It would be interesting to identify her as the mother of Mary (Mamie) Comerford, but her epitaph mentions no husband, and she would have been 63 years old when Mary was born. Maybe she named a daughter Catherine, and the younger Catherine married Michael Comerford. Also, we are lacking birth and death dates of Michael Comerford and his wife, Catherine.
