The four photos below are of the inscriptions on this Allen monument, some on each of the four sides.

And below are the Allen inscriptions as recorded by the WPA in 1936.

 

Note there are two listings for a William Allen who died in 1862, the longer one on the much older headstone below.  Maybe some descendants decided a few decades later to erect one marker and put all the names on it.
